This Privacy Policy explains how Orva ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use orva.video and our products. We are committed to protecting your data under the EU GDPR and applicable laws.

1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

• Sign-up: your first name and email address.
• Purchases: order details and billing data processed by our payment provider (we do not store your card number).
• Studio orders: the brief, scenario, character descriptions and any files (logo, images) you upload.
• Technical: basic logs and device/usage data needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Why we use it (and legal basis)

• Deliver the free pack and our emails, consent.
• Process payments and provide purchased products/services, performance of a contract.
• Produce and deliver Studio videos, performance of a contract.
• Secure, maintain and improve the service, legitimate interest.
• Comply with legal/accounting obligations, legal obligation.

4. Processors & international transfers

We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf: Resend (email), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), and AI providers used to produce Studio videos (e.g. Anthropic, Kling, ElevenLabs). Some are located outside the EU (incl. the USA); transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.

5. Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: while you are subscribed (until you unsubscribe), for the duration of our commercial relationship, and as required by law (e.g. invoices).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You can unsubscribe from any email via its link. To exercise your rights, email hello@orva.video. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to operate the site and process secure payments. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
